Lake District Walks from The Mortal Man Cumbria

There are numerous walks which you can do straight from our doorstep, these are detailed for you by the proprietor Kate, who can also advise on other fantastic walks and fells to do in the local area. If you feel you need a guide we can put you in touch with one of these. Otherwise an ordnance survey map and good boots are essential when venturing up the fells. Next door to the Mortal Man is Wansfell which is detailed as one of Wainwrights walks it takes you over to Ambleside and is a perfect walk for the beginner wanting a small challenge on their first visit.
